Local Maps Revenue Calculator

How much monthly revenue do Google Maps positions 1, 2, and 3 capture in your market? Enter three things and get a dollar answer in under 10 seconds.

[ How it works ]

The math: monthly_revenue = local_searches × position_CTR × call_conversion × close_rate × avg_job_value

Local searches comes from a live call to the DataForSEO Google Ads Keyword Volume API. We sum the volume of four query variants: <category> <city> <state>, <category> near me, <category> in <city>, and best <category> <city> <state>.

Position CTR uses public local-pack click-study averages: position 1 = 8.0%, position 2 = 4.0%, position 3 = 2.0%, positions 4-10 combined = 1.5%, below page 1 = 0.5%. Source: BrightLocal + Whitespark local-pack click studies weighted 2024-2026.

Call conversion uses a category-specific lookup (dental 18%, plumbing 35%, restaurants 50%, lawyers 8%, etc). These are conservative industry-typical search-to-booking rates.

Close rate is a slider you control. Default 50%. Adjust to your business's actual booked-call to revenue conversion.

Average job value is your number, supplied as input.

The output is a planning estimate, not a guarantee. Use it to compare positions and prioritize work, not as a precise revenue forecast for your specific business.
