What happens when you press the Quickword shortcut?
First, hold your shortcut.
A small pill appears in the corner to show it is listening. Ctrl and Shift by default; change it to whatever your hands prefer.
Then speak.
Say what you want written. The pause before you start and after you finish is trimmed for you. Ums are removed. Punctuation is added.
Let go and the text lands.
Wherever your cursor was. Any text field, in any app, in any browser. You never have to click into Quickword first.
